Vertigo is a fear of heights that is difficult to pinpoint and affects many people. There are stories of window cleaners who one day are "suddenly" overcome by intense fear and no longer dare to climb down. For this reason, architect Nynke Rixt Jukema chose Dejogrip gratings with limited views in her design. The observation tower is 26 metres high and the steel gratings are made of hot-dip galvanised 3 mm thick steel.
